- Nash Vancouver is a free Russian-language city website for Vancouver, British Columbia. You can read it without an account.
- We collect only what we need to run the site: your account details, what you choose to post, payment confirmations and basic technical data.
- We do not sell your personal information. We do not post anything on your behalf on Facebook or Google.
- You can delete your account yourself in your profile settings at any time, or ask us by email.

1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how the publisher of Nash Vancouver ("Nash Vancouver", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you use nashvancouver.com (the "Website").
We have designated a Privacy Officer who is accountable for our compliance with this policy. You can reach the Privacy Officer at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account: email address, display name, password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form), profile photo and preferences.
- Sign-in with Google or Facebook: if you choose to sign in this way, we receive your name, email address and profile picture, and an account identifier from that service. From Facebook we request only the
public_profileandemailpermissions. We do not receive your password, friends list, posts or any other data, and we never post on your behalf. - Content you post: listings (business directory, jobs, events, rentals), comments, ratings, messages, photos and any contact details you choose to publish. Content you publish is visible to everyone who visits the Website.
- Payments: when you buy a paid placement, payment is processed by PayPal. We receive the payer's name, email address, transaction number, amount, currency and status. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Communications: messages you send us through contact forms or by email, and your newsletter subscription.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and date and time of visits. When you create an account, we look up the approximate city of your IP address and save it in your profile.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see section 5.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- create and operate your account, including sign-in with Google or Facebook;
- publish and manage the content you submit, including moderation;
- process paid placements, send receipts and reminders, and handle requests and disputes;
- send service messages about your account, listings and payments;
- send our newsletter, if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time from any newsletter);
- protect the Website and its users from spam, fraud and abuse;
- measure audience and improve the Website;
- show advertising on the Website, including ads from Google;
- comply with the law and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
We do not use your information for purposes other than those described here without your consent, unless the law permits or requires it.
4. Sign-in with Facebook: what we receive and how to delete it
When you click "Sign in with Facebook" and approve the request, Facebook shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use them once to create or match your account on the Website and to show your avatar. We store your name, email address and avatar image in your account. We do not share Facebook data with third parties, use it for advertising, or combine it with data from other sources.
- Yourself, at any time: sign in, open your Profile → Settings and choose Delete account. We send a confirmation code to your email address; after you enter it, your account is deleted immediately, including your name, email address and profile picture.
- By email: write to [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data" from the email address of your account. We complete the request within 30 days and confirm by email.
- Disconnect the app on Facebook: in Facebook, go to Settings → Apps and Websites, find NashVancouver and remove it. This stops further sharing; to delete what we already hold, use option 1 or 2.
When an account is deleted, listings it published are withdrawn from the Website. We may keep a record of paid transactions and of withdrawn listings where the law requires it or to resolve disputes (see section 8).
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use:
- Essential cookies: keep you signed in, protect forms from abuse (Cloudflare Turnstile) and remember settings such as the translation language. The Website does not work properly without them.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) helps us understand how many people visit and which pages they read.
- Advertising cookies: Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies to show ads, including ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites. Our own ad system counts views and clicks of banners on the Website.
- Embedded content: videos and posts from YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and similar services may set their own cookies when you view them.
Your choices: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can turn off personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com and learn about other choices at youradchoices.ca or optout.aboutads.info. You can stop Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
Do Not Track: browsers' "Do Not Track" signals are not standardised, and the Website does not currently respond to them.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Publicly: content you publish (listings, comments, your display name and avatar) is visible to all visitors and may be indexed by search engines.
- Service providers that operate parts of the Website for us and may process data only on our instructions:
- web hosting and backups (our hosting provider; backups stored in Google Drive);
- Cloudflare – content delivery, security and spam protection;
- Google – Analytics, Tag Manager, AdSense, sign-in with Google, page translation and YouTube;
- Meta – sign-in with Facebook;
- PayPal – payment processing;
- SendPulse – newsletter delivery;
- Automattic (Akismet) – spam filtering of comments;
- ipdata – approximate city lookup by IP address when an account is created;
- our email delivery provider – account and service emails.
- Legal reasons: when the law requires it, to respond to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, the public or us.
- Business transfer: if the Website or its operations are transferred to another operator, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
7. Where your information is processed
Our service providers are located in Canada, the United States and other countries. Your information may be stored and processed outside your province, state or country, and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of those jurisdictions under their laws.
8. How long we keep information
- Account data: until you delete your account.
- Published content: while it is published; withdrawn listings are kept in a non-public archive only as long as needed for record-keeping and to resolve disputes.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally up to 7 years).
- Technical logs and analytics: up to 14 months.
- Backups: deleted data may remain in backups for a limited period until they are overwritten.
9. Your rights and choices
- Access and correction: you can view and update most of your information in your profile. You can also ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you or to correct it.
- Deletion: see section 4.
- Withdraw consent: you can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email and withdraw other consents by contacting us. This may limit some features.
- How to make a request: email [email protected] from the address linked to your account. We may need to confirm your identity. We respond within 30 days.
Canada. You have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, in British Columbia, the Personal Information Protection Act. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca).
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, limited staff access and spam protection. No system is completely secure. If a breach of security creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.
11. Children
The Website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. You must be 18 or older to create an account or buy a paid placement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn that we have, we will delete it.
12. Visitors from other regions
The Website is intended for residents of Vancouver, British Columbia and the surrounding area. If you use it from another country or province, your information will be handled as described in this policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and where the changes are significant we will tell you by email or by a notice on the Website before they take effect.

Эта Политика конфиденциальности объясняет, как издатель сайта Наш Ванкувер («Наш Ванкувер», «мы») собирает, использует и передаёт персональные данные, когда вы пользуетесь сайтом nashvancouver.com («Сайт»).

2. Какие данные мы собираем

- Вход через Google или Facebook: если вы выбираете такой вход, мы получаем ваше имя, адрес email, фото профиля и идентификатор аккаунта в этом сервисе. У Facebook мы запрашиваем только разрешения
public_profileиemail. Мы не получаем ваш пароль, список друзей, публикации или любые другие данные и никогда ничего не публикуем от вашего имени. - Ваши публикации: объявления (справочник, вакансии, события, аренда), комментарии, оценки, сообщения, фото и контактные данные, которые вы решили опубликовать. Опубликованное видно всем посетителям Сайта.
- Оплаты: когда вы покупаете платное размещение, оплату обрабатывает PayPal. Мы получаем имя плательщика, адрес email, номер транзакции, сумму, валюту и статус. Полный номер вашей карты мы не получаем и не храним.
- Обращения: сообщения через формы обратной связи или по email и ваша подписка на рассылку.
Данные, которые собираются автоматически
- Технические данные: IP-адрес, тип браузера и устройства, просмотренные страницы, страница, с которой вы пришли, дата и время посещений. При создании аккаунта мы определяем примерный город по вашему IP-адресу и сохраняем его в профиле.

3. Как мы используем данные
Мы используем персональные данные, чтобы:
- создавать и поддерживать ваш аккаунт, включая вход через Google или Facebook;
- публиковать и вести ваши материалы, включая модерацию;
- обрабатывать платные размещения, отправлять квитанции и напоминания, разбирать обращения и споры;
- присылать служебные сообщения об аккаунте, объявлениях и оплатах;
- отправлять рассылку, если вы на неё подписались (отписаться можно в любой момент из любого письма);
- защищать Сайт и пользователей от спама, мошенничества и злоупотреблений;
- измерять аудиторию и улучшать Сайт;
- показывать рекламу на Сайте, в том числе рекламу Google;
- соблюдать закон и наши Правила использования.
Мы не используем ваши данные для других целей без вашего согласия, если только закон этого не разрешает или не требует.
4. Вход через Facebook: что мы получаем и как это удалить
Когда вы нажимаете «Войти через Facebook» и подтверждаете запрос, Facebook передаёт нам ваше имя, адрес email и фото профиля. Мы используем их один раз, чтобы создать или найти ваш аккаунт на Сайте и показать аватар. В аккаунте мы храним ваше имя, адрес email и изображение аватара. Мы не передаём данные из Facebook третьим лицам, не используем их для рекламы и не объединяем с данными из других источников.
- Самостоятельно, в любой момент: войдите на Сайт, откройте Профиль → Настройки и выберите Удалить аккаунт. Мы пришлём код подтверждения на ваш email; после ввода кода аккаунт удаляется сразу, включая имя, адрес email и фото профиля.
- По email: напишите на [email protected] с темой «Delete my data» с адреса, к которому привязан аккаунт. Мы выполним запрос в течение 30 дней и подтвердим по email.
- Отключить приложение в Facebook: в Facebook откройте Настройки → Приложения и сайты, найдите NashVancouver и удалите. Это прекращает дальнейшую передачу данных; чтобы удалить то, что уже есть у нас, используйте способ 1 или 2.
При удалении аккаунта его объявления снимаются с Сайта. Мы можем хранить записи об оплатах и снятых объявлениях, если этого требует закон или это нужно для разрешения споров (см. раздел 8).
5. Cookies и похожие технологии
Cookies – это небольшие файлы, которые сохраняет ваш браузер. Мы используем:
- Необходимые cookies: сохраняют вход в аккаунт, защищают формы от злоупотреблений (Cloudflare Turnstile) и запоминают настройки, например язык перевода. Без них Сайт работает неправильно.

Ваш выбор: вы можете блокировать или удалять cookies в настройках браузера. Персонализированную рекламу Google можно отключить на adssettings.google.com, другие варианты – на youradchoices.ca или optout.aboutads.info. Отключить Google Analytics можно с помощью расширения Google.
Do Not Track: сигналы браузера «Do Not Track» не стандартизированы, и Сайт сейчас на них не реагирует.

7. Где обрабатываются данные

8. Как долго мы храним данные
- Данные аккаунта: пока вы не удалите аккаунт.
- Публикации: пока они опубликованы; снятые объявления хранятся в закрытом архиве только столько, сколько нужно для учёта и разрешения споров.
- Записи об оплатах: столько, сколько требует налоговое и бухгалтерское законодательство (обычно до 7 лет).
- Технические журналы и аналитика: до 14 месяцев.
- Резервные копии: удалённые данные могут оставаться в резервных копиях ограниченное время, пока копии не будут перезаписаны.
9. Ваши права и выбор
- Доступ и исправление: большую часть данных можно посмотреть и изменить в профиле. Вы также можете запросить у нас копию ваших персональных данных или их исправление.
- Удаление: см. раздел 4.
- Отзыв согласия: от рассылки можно отписаться по ссылке в любом письме, другие согласия можно отозвать, написав нам. Это может ограничить некоторые функции.
- Как подать запрос: напишите на [email protected] с адреса, привязанного к аккаунту. Нам может понадобиться подтвердить вашу личность. Мы отвечаем в течение 30 дней.
Канада. У вас есть права по федеральному закону Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), а в Британской Колумбии – по закону Personal Information Protection Act. 10. Безопасность

12. Посетители из других регионов
Сайт предназначен для жителей Ванкувера и окрестностей. Если вы пользуетесь им из другой страны или провинции, ваши данные обрабатываются так, как описано в этой политике.
13. Изменения политики
Мы можем обновлять эту политику. Новая версия публикуется на этой странице с новой датой «Последнее обновление», а о существенных изменениях мы сообщим по email или объявлением на Сайте до их вступления в силу.
